In a previous post I mentioned that I am using a podcast during my 5K training. This podcast is not my normal podcast (NPR, New York Times, Comedy Central), it’s all techno, all the time. I don’t like techno, but this podcast keeps me going and has already been motivating me to finish a full day’s training.
I have been using Podrunner: Intervals as my Couch-to-5K training music. They have three different programs within their podcast; one for getting to a 5K, one for getting to an 8K and one for getting to a 10K. I finished week two of the 5k program today (yeehaw!) and am excited to run tomorrow JUST to hear what week three will be.
Podrunner: Intervals follows the Couch-to-5K program by using a beats per minute system. It seems to work out perfectly for me, and motivates me to keep going. If you’re looking at doing this type of program, using Podrunner is a perfect way to get you going and then keep you going. Perfect motivation for those just starting out!
*Thank you Mommy Is Moody for my fabulous blog title. Ya’ll should go tell her how much you love her. If you didn’t know her before today, go remind her that I love her.
