- major tendonitis in the arch of my left foot. I am NOT pleased with this. I am supposed to stay off my feet (not possible at work), keep my foot compressed, on ice and above my heart. That isn’t happening; I’m sorry. I am going to wear flats and use this to my advantage to wear comfortable shoes to work, though.
- not been able to run for 48 hours because of my foot. I’m already going stir crazy. This is a good and a bad sign. It means exercise is really effecting my body, but it means that when I don’t get it, I go a little crazy.
- decided that I’m heading to South Carolina for the Fall of 2009. I’m deferring for the entire year. They’re okay with that. Mom and I are still planning a visit for January. I’m hoping that the visit is a total success.
- finally scheduled a doctor’s appointment for my chronic pain. I couldn’t get in until next Thursday because they want to run some tests and I’m a “new” patient (I’m really an old patient with a new physician, though). I’m not too pleased with that. I’ll get over it, though.
- talked to an acupuncturist about my chronic pain as well. She is more than willing to work out a treatment plan with me. She’s also a bank client, so that means more connections and it’s good for both sides. By the way, that picture up there? That’s me. The clinician who used to do my acupuncture took a photograph of my session once for her website. I’m still up there!
- been told by my immediate supervisor (BossLady) today that I am the Queen of Remote Deposit Capture. This is a big deal. A big effin’ deal, actually. I rule at my job and my boss is vocal about it to me. I do love my job, even when I struggle with some of those I work with. If I didn’t love public health education so much … who knows!
- 499 entries. I’ll have to come up with something cool for 500 now. Thanks.
- a new blog! Women’s Health went live over the weekend and I’ve spent the week putting up entries and getting things situated over there. I’d LOVE it if you would head that direction and check it out; seriously, I’ll give you cookies or something.
- to pee. See ya later!

Love the ending! And, really happy to hear that you are seeing a doctor about your chronic pain. That is something you don’t want to ignore
